Paul was a founder of the Provident Group in 1997 as a small Financial Planning and General Insurance practice. Provident has grown to a business that now employs over 30 people offering financial planning, general insurance, business consultancy and lending advice. The Group provides support and advice to a wide range of individuals and businesses. Whilst financial advice contains standard components, compliance details and is a technical discipline, Paul approaches his role from a personal perspective. He seeks to understand the client’s objectives and expectations of service before looking to present and articulate advice that is relevant to them and their individual situation.


Paul’s primary responsibilities are with corporate clients and gearing strategies, however his dedication and knowledge see him providing unique solutions in all facets of financial advice. Paul has specialised expertise in key person, buy/sell programs and advanced wealth accumulation strategies including self-managed super funds.Paul Carter is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and an authorised representative and credit representative of AMP Financial Planning Pty Limited.
